About Home Inspector Terry Wilhite
Terry is a 37 year residential, commercial, and industrial electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In his construction management career he has supervised residential, commercial, industrial, power generation, and oil and chemical refining projects.
During these years he has worked with other trade disciplines and crafts which allowed him to learn construction from foundation to completed structure and systems.
He has certifications in building automation installation and programming systems, commercial and industrial instrumentation processes with the Instrument Society of Measurement and Control and fiber optic installation and cable splicing through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is a graduate of Lewis and Clark Community College where he received his electrical apprenticeship, studied courses in construction management and received an associate's degree in applied science. He is a graduate of the American Home Inspector's Training, and a member of the National Association of Home Inspectors.
In his years of operating a business (ice cream parlor) he received one of his many titles ("the ice cream guy") from the neighborhood children and their parents.
In his personal life he has the experience of an introductory flying lessons piloting (with supervision) a 4 seater Cesena, scuba dived 30 feet deep (with supervision) off Maui, climbed the Mayan pyramid (all by himself), and served seven (7) days during a "Tiger Cruise" on board the U.S.S.
